June 4th is now officially

Illinois Youth Philanthropy Day!

We are incredibly excited to share that Illinois Governor has proclaimed June 4th to be Illinois Youth Philanthropy Day!

This proclamation celebrates the progress and dedication of communities across Illinois that have been empowering young people to lead. It also lays the foundation for what’s next — a statewide movement where every city, town, and neighborhood, no matter its size, recognizes the incredible ability and value of the young people they see every day. And in doing so, Illinois can set the example for what’s possible in states across the country.

Philanthropy is about helping others however you can. It is about giving and supporting and working together, and in order for us to make a better tomorrow, we must include the voices of tomorrow, today!

Inaugural Illinois Summit on Youth Philanthropy

In honor of this newly proclaimed Illinois Youth Philanthropy Day, we will be hosting the Inaugural Illinois Summit on Youth Philanthropy on June 4th, 2025.
